Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the utility of a personal digital assistant PDA based advanced practice nurse APN student clinical log CL APN to detect possible diagnostic errors related to hypertension HTN management A model was developed to detect HTN diagnostic errors and 15867 encounters were analyzed Possible diagnostic errors included 64 missed diagnoses 5 3 misdiagnoses and 6 8 incomplete diagnoses
