Effective Support for CHWs Designing Tools for Managers Medic Mobile utilizes user personas and other human centered design methods to evolve its tools to address needs in the health system In their experiences deploying with high impact partners Medic Mobile has learned that supportive supervision was key to the success of CHW programs Join this session to hear from Medic Mobile about their understanding of how customized views features and dashboards are important to meeting end user needs Attendees will be lead through a workshop where they will step in the shoes of CHWs and health managers and put human centered design to use Working in pairs and using our user personas and workflow sketches as a guide we will role play as CHWs and managers with the tools It s natural to design based on what we think we know about a role or relationship The goal of the workshop is to experience the CHW manager relationship firsthand and consider ways of improving the experience both in the app and in the resulting human relationship for both users The session will include an overview of Medic Mobile s work on manager apps to date Presented by Sharon LangevinProduct ManagerMedic Mobile Jane KatanuAfrica Regional DesignerMedic Mobile
