dc.description.abstractCome listen to three inspiring stories about the ways in which digital technologies create opportunities to reach key populations transforming the possibilities for the field of global health Project Concern International PCI will share its collaboration experience with Amazon Web Services on a transformational solution to allow self reporting by HIV AIDS orphaned vulnerable teenage children in Botswana who will interact with community mobilizers using voice recognition and other mobile based apps and tools Self reporting by beneficiaries will transform the way data collection processes and M E are conducted and the way interventions will be performed Through the USAID Strengthening the Care Continuum Project JSI is supporting the the Government of Ghana and its partners to provide quality comprehensive HIV services for men who have sex with men female sex workers and their partners To improve decision making processes and ensure comprehensive coverage within districts the project developed an interactive map that identified locations and services information by mapping and validating over 1000 geolocations using Google Maps And the USAID and PEPFAR funded LINKAGES project to monitor and improve quality of HIV services for key populations developed an SMS platform to gather information about patients and clients experiences of stigma and discrimination at health facilities and assess overall client satisfaction with health services It is a quick and innovative way to collect data from both members of key populations and health care workers and produces program wide data dashboards maps and facility level reports to guide service improvements Presented by Leah McManus Technical Program Manager IntraHealth International
