dc.description.abstractRealist Reviews Gap Maps and Other Tips for Designing Evidence based Data Use Interventions Globally program implementers have strived to design interventions that allow health workers to not only collect better data but to also use those data for decision making But how well do we as designers of data use interventions actually use data and evidence The Immunization Data Evidence for Action IDEA Review was undertaken to identify the existing evidence on what works to improve the use of heath data and to synthesize that evidence into actionable steps that implementers policymakers and funders can take to design better data use interventions During this session the presenters from PATH shared the methodology used to identify and review 549 pieces of evidence the evidence gap map and IDEA s efforts to ensure the findings are turned into action MEASURE Evaluation and Village Reach shared cases studies that are examples of evidence based data use interventions Discussion focussed on how the global digital health community can work to increase the quality of evidence available on best practices for data use to help further the work started by the IDEA team Speakers Jessica Shearer Acting Director Health Systems Innovation and Delivery PATH Hallie Goertz Director of Engagement Center of Digital and Data Excellence PATH Michelle Li Monitoring Evaluation and Data Use Specialist Palladium Jennifer Pancholi Interim Lead Data Analytics Team Village Reach
