dc.description.abstractPanel Preparing for HIS Scale In this presentation K4Health will share learnings from their report documenting this process and comparing it to the recommended stages of the National eHealth Strategy Toolkit developed by WHO and the International Telecommunication Union ITU which may be helpful to those engaging in a similar process elsewhere Next despite many gaps in current health information system Bangladesh is rapidly moving towards establishing a comprehensive automated routine health information system under the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare MOHFW In order to focus on district managed population based routine information system and to bridge gaps among different fragmented information systems the MOHFW implemented an electronic District Health information System DHIS 2 and supplied community health workers with tablets to facilitate knowledge management Learn more about these two exciting leadership examples Presented by Dr Muhibbul Abrar Advisor Health Management Information Systems Save the Children
