dc.description.abstractMobile Surveys and Using Data from Scaled Digital Solutions Large data sets from scaled digital solutions provide unique opportunities During this session speakers from three organizations will explore mobile survey design implementation and how data is used giving examples of their experiences Dimagi will share their experience in how to maintain momemtum and usage post training They will explore how some implementation factors from the first months of usage can predict which users will continue to use the system For the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs mobile surveys were the necessary solution to leverage existing resources and capacity to rapidly respond to an urgent donor request to report on which specific HIV related services were received by girls group attendees Speakers will discuss the advantages of electronic data collection and the accelerated timeline for this mobile survey implementation Finally PSI who overhauled paper based systems in Cambodia Laos Myanmar and Vietnam to become a regional malaria surveillance system in DHIS 2 geolocated case data from 22 000 private sector providers is now available in a central system PSI will discuss how they standardized across countries while maintaining flexibility for local adaptation and electronic integration between public and private systems Presented by Rebecca Potter Regional Evidence Monitoring Adviser Greater Mekong Sub region Population Services International PSI
