dc.description.abstractInteractive Voice Response IVR has been around for decades and is most known for its use with hotlines or for conducting surveys Recently however some organizations are adapting the basic IVR platform for new and creative purposes yielding exciting results and possibilities VOTO Mobile enables organizations anywhere in the world to use a combination of mobile technologies such IVR SMS and USSD to design pilot and scale tools for projects spanning multiple sectors including health In this session speakers will describe innovative ways they are using the VOTO platform Examples will include a JHUCCP project that delivers entertaining content in an interactive format to family planning clients a program facilitate push messages in Haiti and how the 3 2 1 product is flipping the script on traditional mass radio campaigns for social and behavior change communication Presented by Caitlin LoehrProgram OfficerHealth Communication Capacity Collaborative HC3 ProjectJohns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs Melissa PersaudDirector of PartnershipsVOTO Mobile
